We specialize in one-on-one private guitar lessons.
Beginning to advanced students are welcome.
We teach children (ages 8-9 and up), teens, and adults.
Beginning Guitar Lessons
Instruction covers the fundamental concepts of acoustic and electric guitar playing:
- The basic notation systems used for guitar
- Open position chord voicings and optimal fingerings
- Getting fingers to work as a group
- Right and left hand techniques
- Pick technique
- Chord types and basic music theory applied to guitar
- Basic chord progressions
- Strumming techniques and rhythms
- Introduction to fingerpicking and fingerstyle guitar
- Chord embellishments
- Guitar fretboard theory
- Scales and fingerings
- Pop, Rock, and Country songs are used to illustrate concepts
Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
Experienced guitarists will have in-depth lessons tailored to their individual musical interests. We offer subjects taught at Berklee College of Music and the University of Southern California. College preparation is available.
Rates
1/2 Hour Lesson: $25
1 Hour Lesson: $50
SPECIAL MONTHLY DISCOUNT
(Four) 1/2 hour lessons per month: $95 per month to be paid before 1st lesson.
Studio Policies
New students must register when they begin instruction at Everything Guitar. Registration includes completion of the Student Information Form and tuition payment for first month of lessons.
Lesson appointments are made at the time of registration. Students choose from available weekly time slots.
Students will be invoiced on a monthly basis and payment of the monthly tuition fee is due in full prior to the first lesson of each month.
If payment is not received by the first lesson of the month, we reserve the right to offer this spot to a new or current student.
